We are located close to three of the country's largest and most respected universities (Universidad Latina, Universidad de Costa Rica, and Universidad Fidelitis) and all the night life and amenities found on large campuses.
Food
There are several recreational areas located close by and many restaurants offering traditional foods and food from China, Russia, Japan, Nicaragua, Italy, and many other places in the world. A big Perimercados super market is found just down the street. On Saturday mornings, about 25 farmers drive into town from their farms for the weekly farmer's market, set up stands a couple of blocks away, and sell all types of exotic fruits and vegetables that are all shapes and colors, tasty, and inexpensive.
At the corner of the wide, well-lighted, very safe street just in front of the house, you can get a Costa Rican delicacy, a wood-roasted baked chicken with beans, rice, salad, and a freshly squeezed fruit juice for around $3. San Pedro is the best place to be in the Central Valley and we are located right in the middle of it.
Being close to buses and taxis which run straight into town in addition to grocery stores, restaurants, and universities makes this a perfect, safe home base from which to explore Costa Rica.
